Vinifera: an eco-friendly event?

This year too, we’re working to make Vinifera even more sustainable, with a reduced environmental impact. Vinifera is once again an eco-friendly event — and to really make it work, we need your help.

Let’s enjoy great wine, but also drink tap water. Let’s cut down on plastic and non-recyclable materials, sort our waste properly, and avoid food waste. And let’s choose greener ways to get to Vinifera: sharing rides whenever possible, or using public transport.

We’ve also reduced printed promotional materials as much as possible and, whenever printing was unavoidable, we chose PEFC™-certified paper. What does that mean? It means that the paper used for the postcards you’ll see around promoting Vinifera comes from sustainably managed forests, following ecological, economic and social standards.

And what about merchandise? We chose to produce only fabric tote bags and glass holders, made by Sartoria de L’Ucia at Centro Astalli Trento and by Sartoria Internazionale Den John by John Nazir in Trento — organisations that promote social inclusion through work.
